Why is it that after four days of eating nothing but a delicious rice and lentil curry dish I felt like I was going mad… yet after three days of eating nothing but salad with tempe, homemade mustard green hummous, raw tomato and ginger salad dressing and decaf coffee- I feel totally awesome about food?
It seems that in my post cleanse cleanse, I have stuck with the “eating when hungry instead of eating meals”, and have also been living on the same meal over and over again. Admittedly there is more variety in salad- i have different kinds of greens and I had some flax oatmeal for breakfast- and the decaf coffee feels like a total treat! But still, I think it must be the mental side of thinking you can only eat one thing that makes eating the same thing over and over again hard. If you could eat anything and keep eating the same thing day after day- then apparently (at least for me)- it’s no problem! Go figure!
